So I noticed lately alot of people have been using tumblr, I decided to check out the website, it looks really good. It's very simple, which I like. For months and months I've wanted somewhere that I can host very small audio files to show people, tumblr seems promising. So if you have an account, go follow me or something

Also, I will still be using this blog for long updates. I'll use tumblr for audio, small video (maybe), pictures, (which I will be taking more of), and small snippets of things that I like.
As for anyone that may think "fuck sake, not another bandwagon", who cares? True, I wouldn't have started using it if others hadn't because I wouldn't have bothered to check it out, but I wouldn't be using it if it was crap.

Err what's wrong with purevolume, myspace, blogspot, millions of other sites for hosting music?!
Blogspot can already embed videos, pictures and anything else that other websites can do.. it can even embed music files if you add a little code (which can be easily found off google).
Not saying tumblr is bad (i've never actually been on it), but blogspot can already do all of these things that you said you will use tumblr for... o_O
I don't use myspace anymore, I just wanna get away from it completely. And you can only upload about 5 - 6 tracks, whereas I want to upload little rough recordings to show people.
I'm not talking about embedding them, I want to actually upload it to the site.
Tumblr just seems alot more compact and and I like that, i think i'll leave blogspot to long essays I like to write.
Fair enough.
I think i was just being a bit grumpy before, because tumblr seems like a good site ^_^
It's brought all the things together (music, videos, pics etc) and made it easy to add them.
Blogspot can do these things too, but more effort is required.
